The Lancaster Barnstormers are an American professional baseball team based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania . They are a member of the Freedom Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball , which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball . From the 2005 season to the present, the Barnstormers have played their home games at Clipper Magazine Stadium in the city's Northwest Corridor .

The Lancaster Barnstormers were originally owned by Opening Day Partners (ODP), a company that specializes in baseball club and stadium operations. ODP also created Atlantic League clubs in York, Pennsylvania , Southern Maryland , and Sugar Land, Texas . On November 12, 2014, ODP transitioned their ownership of the Barnstormers to Dakota Baseball, LLC in order to complete their goal of focusing solely on the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs . Dakota Baseball comprises Ian Ruzow, Rob Liss, Steve Zuckerman, and Bob Zuckerman, Lancastrians and founders of Clipper Magazine - the Barnstormers' naming rights partner. [9]

In the 1894–1895 season, a team called the Lancaster Chicks played in the Keystone Association. An all- African-American team called the Lancaster Giants followed in 1887, and many Lancastrians supported the team despite the social pressure of the day. The Giants hosted many exhibition games against the Philadelphia Giants of the Keystone Club. [12]

A native of Macon, Georgia, Hannah has been active in the sports media community since 2011. Before becoming an Honor Graduate of Howard High School in 2013, Hannah created her own weekly broadcast covering Howard’s football and basketball games. The experience led to an internship with The Telegraph, where she continued to learn from the local media experts covering Central Georgia high school football and basketball, as well as Mercer Men’s Basketball and a spring game at the University of Georgia. After attending the University of Missouri until 2015, Hannah moved home to pursue her sports broadcasting dream in the heart of Georgia.  (Read More...)

Christian Wise returns back to Georgia where from his days as a CAU Panther to his pro career which he’s played from 2008 in the AF2 for the South Georgia Wildcats where Coach Stingley found Wise in a open try out for the then Albany, GA team in 2008 his rookie year then going on to Albany, NY where he started as an Arena Football Ironman in his 2009 season amassing 1999 all-purpose yards in 10 games 19 TDs, 3KOR for TD and 1 Interception with the Albany Firebirds.
