I'm trying to figure out her background and bio. She's pretty much a beastbrood (rakshasa spawn) which would mean she's most likely from Jalmeray. Of course considering who her mother is she would have the best features of both a Taldan and a Vudrani. However, since her mother is a divine being (read celestial) and she's a tiefling (read fiend) I guess the two energies would try to cancel out each other which might result in the tiefling being a hermophadite (she's meant to be btw). Of course, my problem is wouldn't Shelyn's divineness cancel out any infernal bloodline in the child's body? She is a goddess.

Sure! She pretty much be abandoned by whatever noble Vudrani family she was born into and left at the doorstep of a temple of Shelyn. Since her family suspected she might be a tiefling they didn't want any thing to do with her (trying to figure out the details of her birth and all I get is that Shelyn possessed the wife and while it appears that he Vudrani noblewoman gave birth it was actually Shelyn giving birth yeah very convoluted and not making sense but that's what I got so far). Since tieflings are considered untouchable in jalameray even priests would have to treat her as so (you can probably imagine Shelyn's shock and anger at her daughters mistreatment).

It sounds like you're planning to play. Some of this is best discussed with the campaign's GM specifically. At the least, make sure they know that you're familiar with the "twist", as they might be upset to find out later.

Capable of calling upon the power of the gods in the form of blessings and spells, warpriests blend divine magic with martial skill. They are unflinching bastions of their faith, shouting gospel as they pummel foes into submission, and never shy away from a challenge to their beliefs. While clerics might be subtle and use diplomacy to accomplish their aims, warpriests aren’t above using violence whenever the situation warrants it. In many faiths, warpriests form the core of the church’s martial forces—reclaiming lost relics, rescuing captured clergy, and defending the church’s tenets from all challenges.
