Quiet , known to the Soviet forces as Tixij (Russian: Тихий , "Quiet"), [Note] [1] was a female assassin during the 1980s . Originally an assassin for  XOF , Quiet later defected to Diamond Dogs after being defeated by Venom Snake . Quiet wore a minimal amount of clothing at all times because she could only drink or breathe through her skin following parasite-treatment due to the serious injuries she had sustained while trying to kill Big Boss during the hospital raid ; wearing too much clothing would lead to suffocation.

After being defeated by Venom Snake in Afghanistan following a tense sniper duel, Quiet became a prisoner at Mother Base until she was allowed to accompany Venom Snake on missions as a buddy . Her weapons included two lethal sniper rifles nicknamed Wicked Butterfly and Sinful Butterfly as well as the non-lethal Guilty Butterfly.

Ultimately, she survived, although with severe enough injuries to force herself to be infected with a mutant strain of the "the one that covers" parasites used to create the Parasite Unit which managed to repair most of her physical damage, grant her superhuman speed, perception, durability, longevity, phasing and invisibility. It also allowed her to breathe through her skin and take in nutrients via photosynthesis or small showers, effectively removing the need for food, drinking or breathing.

Movie lovers have been mourning the upcoming loss of Daniel Day-Lewis from the acting world ever since his representative revealed in June that he would no longer be acting after Paul Thomas Anderson’s “ Phantom Thread .” Day-Lewis is notoriously private and has remained silent on his planned retirement since the news first broke, but the three-time Oscar winner has finally shared his thoughts in a new interview with W Magazine .

“Before making the film, I didn’t know I was going to stop acting,” Day-Lewis told W. “I do know that Paul and I laughed a lot before we made the movie. And then we stopped laughing because we were both overwhelmed by a sense of sadness. That took us by surprise: We didn’t realize what we had given birth to. It was hard to live with. And still is.”

“I haven’t figured it out,” Day-Lewis said. “But it’s settled on me, and it’s just there. Not wanting to see the film is connected to the decision I’ve made to stop working as an actor. But it’s not why the sadness came to stay. That happened during the telling of the story, and I don’t really know why.”
