It's a simple flower painting and the canvas is dull.  On the back it's signed Cora Wright, 1895 Lake Placid. I'll figure out if I can post a picture, but my question is, generally, are antique paintings ever worth anything even if they are not a prominent artist?

It's cute and it's hanging in my kitchen, I'm not overly concerned with value, mostly curious!  Unfortunately, I think there may be some 'unintended' paint that got onto the canvas later in life. :(
